Sunapee Conservation Commission Minutes Meeting date January 5, 2011

Rem Mastin made the motion to pay the invoice received from Anita Blakeman for LCIP Monitor Services, Professional Forest Fees. A site walk is done on the properties, and reports are sent to the state. The total due is $280.00. Bruce Burdett seconded the motion. All in favor 7, Opposed 0.
SCC has received a bill due April 1, 2011 for renewal of NH Association of Conservation Commission Membership. $225 per year.
Ledge Pond easement is being drafted by Beth with ASLPT. Beth will come to our February meeting to review the easement for Ledge Pond, Gore Lot and the 7 Acre remote buffer lot. We will review the language then plan on holding two public hearings with the Select Board and Planning Board. There is currently debris on the Ledge Pond lot which will need to be cleaned up. Future improvements of having the line marked, hiring a surveyor to re-blaze and do road work, clean up entry way and add gravel for the mud. Contact the snowmobile club to maybe help with improvements on trail when newly flagged.
A review of the Tyler Bartlett lot is planned for 2011 for the possibility of trails, future project site.
Field Stone – The Road and lot have been accepted by the select Board. SCC will look into doing a trail, parking and a sign on the property.
Sunapee Recreation Director Scott Blewitt is seeking grant money on tree planting at Ski Tow Hill. Tim Fleury did some investigating on the program but seems to be outdated information. SCC will invite the Sunapee Recreation committee members to attend our March meeting to review future “landscaping” for Ski Tow Hill.
